Bowls signals in use at Indoor Bowling Clubs.
As signalled from the head end to the bowler on the mat
At the start of an end
- Let the bowler know the length to which the jack should be sent.
- Come into the head from this side (left or right)
- Come in from either side
During an end
- Let the bowler know the jack distance from the tee.
- Let the bowler know where the jack is located (when hidden)
- Let the bowler know which bowl is ours, which is the oppositions
- Advice, come into the head with draw weight, at this point
- Advice, come into the head with weight, at this point
- Bowl arriving, let bowler know more weight needed
- Bowl arriving, let bowler know less weight needed
- Let the bowler know how far their bowl is in front (or behind) the jack (not diagonally)
- Let the bowler know their bowl is level with the jack
- Let the bowler know it is a measure for shot or end

- Let the bowler know our team is 1 up or down just now
- Let the bowler know our team is 2 up or down just now
- Let the bowler know our team is 3 up or down just now
- Let the bowler know our team is 4 up or down just now
- Let the bowler know our team is 5 up or down just now
